Well Happy New Year Y’all…
Let’s start this new year with an interesting topic… Knuckles rings! Yes
At first I didn’t really like the idea, I thought it was weird, like toe ring, you know… ew…  But actually I really do like the knuckles rings because it is well, edgy, everyone does it and for my part it is a way to buy fantasy rings that are obviously not my size and being able to wear them!! nice
But unfortunately where I live (France) knuckles rings aren’t really in fashion or yes they are but you can’t find them on the internet on french sites… so sad… you can read articles about them, but if you want to buy them (I am looking right now…) it is so much work for something so small…
But I am still looking for it!

When someone is talking about Van Cleef & Arpels your mind starts dreaming about some of the most marvelous and unbelievable jewelry in the World…

For more than one hundred years Van Cleef & Arpels represent the French Haute Joaillerie, you recognize the style, like the iconic Serti Mystérieux, the Alhambra Collection or you think of Elizabeth Taylor and her amazing collection of Jewelries!

A combination of chic, high definition, savoir-faire, gorgeous gems… this is the Van Cleef & Arpels Style since 1906.

So it is why I am proud to say that the Museum of the Arts Décoratifs is hosting an Exhibition on Van Cleef & Arpels from the 20th of Septembre 2012 to the 10th of February 2013. You simply can’t come in Paris and not see the Exhibition !!!

Friday night I was, I think, at one of the biggest event of this Paris Fashion Week SS 2013. The Vernissage of the Chloé Attitudes Exhibition, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Maison de Prêt-à-Porter Chloé.
I had the chance to received an invitation, not because I am a celebrity or an international well-known blogger, obviously… But because I worked on the exhibition last year!!
The exhibition is to die for, everybody must come and see it. It take place in the new area of the Palais de Tokyo, the scenography is amazing, the dresses are placed in space which looks like the windows of the building says Judith Clark the curator.
Everyone was there, Gaby Aghion, the founder of the Maison, Karl Lagerfeld designer from 1962 to 1983 and from 1993 to 1997 ! Martine Sitbon designer at the beginning of the 90’s, Franca Sozzani, Emmanuelle Alt, Anna dello Russo, Rachel Zoe…
A must !! I really hope you will come and see it, and ENJOY !!!

Well, let’s talk about shoes!!! When I first heard about this new Platform Sneakers from Isabel Marant, I didn’t know how to react! “Do I like it?”, “Is it beautiful? Ugly?”, “Is it just a new trend?”, “Will I fall for that trend?”… Well, YES I did fall for this trend and I am in LOVE with these shoes!!! So in love that I just bought my second pair… told you!

And it’s a real contagion, the shoes arrived the morning and they are all sold out the evening… I said, “Contagion” because when I see the scratch one I really think of orthopedic shoes, with their chunky front, they are really huge, but sooooo comfortable!  I’ll say one more thing, let’s fall for these shoes!!! Because they go with everything, jeans, skirts, shorts, bare legs… EVERYTHING!! Actually they are REAL PERFECTION!! Enjoy!
